What is Creative Black Tie?
Creative Black Tie is a festive, modern, and high-fashion take on traditional formal wear that blends traditional black-tie elements with personal style. It encourages unique colors, fabrics, textures, and creative accessories rather than standard black tuxedos or evening gowns. We want to see you get creative!
What NOT to wear?

Jeans, t-shirts, party dresses, sneakers, jackets, ball caps, sweatsuits or anything similar to casual ware is not acceptable.

Refrain from wearing all or mostly white, red or orange please.

FOR THOSE WEARING MORE FEMININE CLOTHING:
FLOOR LENGTH DRESSES ARE PREFERRED (FORMAL COCKTAIL DRESSES ARE ACCEPTABLE).
BRIGHT COLORS AND TEXTURES ARE A YES!
HATS, GLOVES AND/OR OTHER FORMAL ACCESSORIES ENCOURAGED.
FEMME FOLK
FOR THOSE WEARING MORE MASCULINE CLOTHING:
TUXEDOS AND TRADITIONAL SUITS ARE PREFERRED (BUSINESS/SOFT SUITS ACCEPTABLE).
BRIGHTLY COLORED AND/OR PATTERNED SUIT, TIE, BOW TIE OR POCKET SQUARE ARE PREFERRED.
HATS, GLOVES AND/OR OTHER FORMAL ACCESSORIES ENCOURAGED.
